Kloof Farm House is located at the end of a cul de sac in the little residential area of Capri in the greater area of Noordhoek on the Cape Peninsula.
The Farm House is situated in the center between Noordhoek, Fish Hoek and Kommetjie with direct access to all the amenities these villages do offer.
Noordhoeks village center, the vibrant Noordhoek Farm Village with its four restaurants (including the famous Foodbarn), numerous curio shops, a coffee roastery, an ice cream shop and a raw juice bar is a 10 minutes drive away. Every Wednesday the locals meet at the Food Market at the Village.
On your way to Noordhoek Beach you’ll encounter the Red Herring Center with several shops, Furnys for wine tasting with delicious tapas style food, Limoncello, an talian restaurant and a micro brewery Aegir with lots of food options as well. Another restaurant at Monkey Valley Resort is well known for its great views of the beach, while The Jakes overlooks the Noordhoek Common.
Cape Point Vineyards, our local wine estate and one of the finest wineries in the entire Cape lies on the slopes of the Silvermine Nature Reserve just 10 minutes away. Here you can picnic, have a wine tasting, feast at the weekly food market or enjoy the wine and food in the restaurant.
Fish Hoek Beach is a family-friendly beach, famous for its eco-friendly shark-exclusion net. Together with Boulders Beach near Simon's Town it is probably the safest swimming beach in and around Cape Town.
Kommetjie is little seaside village, known for being one of Cape Town’s surfing & kite surfing hot spots with one of the biggest drops in the Cape Peninsula.
Just before Kommetjie, you will find Imhoff Farm, one of the Cape Peninsula’s original farms (dating back to 1743). It offers a host of experiences from horse riding to 4 x 4, wellness treatments, lot's of restaurants and shopping for food as well as for art.
Look out for Masiphumelele, our local township on the way to Kommetjie, where you experience an interactive walk or a guided bicycle tour.
The two major shopping malls 'Longbeach Mall and Sun Valley Mall' and Virgin Active, a modern fitness center are only 5 minutes away.
In the immediate vicinity are four golf courses and some of the main attractions of the Cape like Chapman's Peak Drive (one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world), the penguins of Simonstown, Cape of Good Hope, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens or the oldest wineries in South Africa.
The main attractions of the Cape like the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Constantia Winelands are all within a few minutes drive.
