Home away from home – this 64 m² idyllic cottage offers a tranquil retreat surrounded by lush greenery.
Step into the cozy cottage, thoughtfully designed to provide all the comforts you need for a relaxing getaway. From the comfortable furnishings to the fully functional kitchen, we take care to ensure your comfort and enjoyment.
Granny’s Garden Cottage consists of a bedroom with an extra-long twin bed and a 2nd bedroom with a sofa bed and an office workstation for catching up on some work. The comfortable living room with 2 leather couches and a coffee table flows into the kitchen in an open plan style. With all the outdoor dining tables in mind, we’ve placed 3 high chairs around the extended kitchen counter for the summer months. During winter we provide a dining table and 4 chairs for the cottage.
The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower with grab handles, sink, toilet and bidet.
The cottage is fully equipped, from the dishwasher to the food processor and waffle iron, from fiberglass internet to the printer – making it the perfect hideaway for longer stays.
Double glazing helps to ensure that the temperature is always pleasant. Not too cold in winter and not too warm in summer. In addition, underfloor heating in the living room ensures a feel-good atmosphere in the colder season.
Loadshedding is a thing of the past as we run the cottage on solar power and back up batteries.
The cottage has a 25 m² veranda with outdoor seating and a 6 seater dining table.
The 45 m² patio directly in front of the cottage is ideal for breakfast in the morning sun. A hatch lets you start the day stress-free while the water feature integrated into the pond provides relaxing background music together with the birdsong. When the sun stands high on the firmament, the large grapevine over the patio provides wonderful shade.
The highlight of this enchanting retreat is undoubtedly the stunning, 400 m² large landscaped garden for your exclusive use. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Countless Hydrangeas, Clivias, Amarilis, Agapanthus, Lilys, Iris and Wild Garlic to name just a few turn the cottage garden into a single fragrant sea of flowers and attract countless birds.
Enjoy this ambience from the table under the big tree close to the paved barbecue area or from the sun loungers or the relaxing chairs. There is always the right place for them either in the sun, in the shade or in partial shade - the garden meets every need throughout the day and makes this home a peaceful getaway for you to unwind and recharge.
Granny's Garden Cottage is directly adjacent to the self-catering house Little Paradise. It is separated from Little Paradise by garden doors, tall bushes and screens and offers a high level of privacy, particularly due to its north-facing private garden. Although there is a pool on the property, it is part of the personal space of the guests from Little Paradise.
The cottage has a private parking for 2 vehicles on the property.
It is a 5 minutes stroll from the cottage to the Noordhoek Garden Emporium with a small cafe / restaurant, a health and beauty studio, a garden center and a practitioner for body stress release.
Famous Noordhoek Farm Village and world renown Cape Point Vineyards as well as two large shopping centers are a 5 minute drive away from Granny’s Garden Cottage.
Noordhoek with its breathtaking nature is the green heart of the Cape Peninsula. Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside while still being conveniently located all the famous attractions and amenities. Noordhoek is surrounded by numerous wine farms and top restaurants. It’s the ideal base from where to explore the beautiful Cape.
